Welcome to my new website. I will be spending tireless hours getting everything on the site up to par. For now I have got a few videos up in the Videos section. Pictures are coming soon. With this being my first post, I guess I should tell you whats going on.
Six months of preparation and six matches later, I am 4-Time Reigning National Champion, gained my second World Team and first Pan American Games berth.
Here is my last trials match vs. Jean Pierre Durand from Ki Itsu Sai, North Miami Training Center, where I choked him out halfway through the match.
I got back home from Florida Monday morning. After a nearly two hour commute on trains and in cab’s getting back from Newark airport, I have been exhausted the past few days. I have been staying active with some light cardio and BJJ practices, but nothing too serious.
The point race leading into the 2008 Nationals has begun and days to rest will be few and far in between. I am making sure I enjoy the time I have with my future wife and my family. I have already begun planning another three week training stint followed by the Tre Torri competition and camp. This is what it’s all about.

Taraje is such an outstanding young man. I agree he is a great role model. He is blowing up. I know its got to be tuff coming out of the mean streets of the South Bronx. Not only has he gotten his education but he is world traveled and well spoken. His demeanor makes him stand out above the rest. I wish you great success, keep up the good work!
